Paul Gill
Paul is enjoying working with the Earnest company after a five-year hiatus from sound design. He did his first of many sound gigs for the Players back in 1973. He served two years as president of the group and over the years co-produced four plays. He helped acquire and install the Lexicon sound processor for FOPAC. For this production of Earnest, Paul has set the processor to subtly reinforce the actors' voices throughout the auditorium. "Bells-and-whistles sound effects are easy," he says, "but we're always challenged in this acoustically unusual hall to achieve audible and intelligible dialog -- even with American accents!"
