Joann Stevens
(1976) Joann returns to the area and the stage after a four year hiatus in Troy, New York. She has appeared in musical comediies as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady with the Arlington Friends of the Drama, Nellie Forbush in South Pacific and Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls with the Bedford Community Theatre, and as Rosemary in the Lincoln Players' production of How to Succed in Business Without Really Trying. Her experience in plays includes portrayals of Madam Arcati in Blithe Spirit, Mary in Mary, Mary, the mother in Gigi, Jane in Kind Sir, Irina in Three Sisters, Cordelia in King Lear, Luciana in Comedy of Errors, and a variety of roles in an adaptation of Spoon River Anthology. While attending the University of Minnesota, she received the Actress-of-the-Year Award for her portrayal of Mary in Clare Mooth Luce's The Women.
