Brendan J. Kenney
This is Brendan’s second show with Concord Players (but first as Music Director) after having made a rare appearance on stage in The Secret Garden (Captain Albert Lennox) last spring. Brendan is a professional Boston based music director/conductor whose recent music direction credits include West Side Story (Bernstein Centennial Festival), See Rock City (Edinburgh Fringe Festival), Freaky Friday (Melrose Middle School), and Gypsy (Bridgewater State University). As a performer, Brendan has recently been seen on stage with Concord Players and Worcester County Light Opera Company, and has been an invited soloist for various cabarets in the Boston and North Shore area. This past year, Brendan was also selected to sing back up for Sarah Brightman on her Hymn tour and Josh Groban on his Bridges tour. In 2010, Brendan founded the Call for Pit Orchestra Musicians initiative, facilitating hiring musicians while raising awareness of the importance of the full orchestra in theatre which currently has close to 10,000 members in branches across the US, with planned expansion into Canada and Europe. When not in the theater, Brendan is a Web Developer for a tech company in Boston’s Seaport District. “As always, thank you to the cast/crew, friends, family, and ML for your patience and support!”
