Katherine was bitten by the performance bug in Kindergarten when she starred as the Lost "Little Valentine," in the play of the same name. She even left gymnastics behind to pursue an additional year of ballet as part of this goal. Now she performs as often as possible. Her songs in the New York and Boston subways have met with great acclaim.

At school, Katherine has been very active. She played Laurie in Oklahoma! (opposite Danny Rooney there too!). Other musicals include Fiddler on the Roof, Bye Bye, Birdie, and Oliver. Not confined to musicals, last year Katherine also played the part of Goody Nurse in The Crucible and Maudie Atkinson in To Kill a Mockingbird. Outside of school, she was seen in the Concord Youth Theatre's production of Meet Me in St. Louis.

Serious about her craft, Katherine has been studying both dance and voice for 4 years and has performed in both jazz and tap at the schools Dance Club Performances as well as singing in the school Cabaret Performance.

At home, melodrama is her strength as she works her way through senior year at CCHS. Katherine has a twin brother, who likes to provide occasional technical support for her performances, and enjoys watching her (and her female friends) perform. In fact, between honking and flapping her wings, the entire family is anxious to see HONK.
