Julio Gomez Julio is thrilled to be working with the director, cast, and crew of this historic production of Little Women. This is his contribution to his family’s involvement in the Louisa May Alcott legacy, as his wife and two daughters all are Interpretive Guides at the Orchard House. Julio was last seen on the Concord Players stage as Tino in Breaking Legs, and previously as Mr. Gilmer in To Kill a Mockingbird, Oscar Madison in The Odd Couple, and Franz in Sunday in the Park with George. After graduating from Princeton, where he appeared in numerous stage productions, he took the very un-Ivy League approach of heading to New York to pursue acting full time, attending the prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, but decided to take a "break" from acting. For the next twenty years, he was lead singer in a rock band, a Wall Street trader, an Internet entrepreneur, and a Cuba explorer until the summer of 2004 when, while acting in a Concord Youth Theatre production of Pinocchio with his daughters, the actor inside him was reawakened. Julio lives in Concord (on the hill above Louisa May Alcott’s Orchard House) with his beloved wife Carla and their three awesome, stage-savvy kids: Eliza, Olivia, and Maximilian. | |||||||||||||||||||||
