Philana is a recent graduate of Emerson College, where she received a BA in writing and literature. Angel Street marks her debut with the Concord Players and she is thrilled to be stepping out from behind the scenes and onto the Concord stage. Most recently, she worked backstage at Acme Theater in Maynard for their production of Breaking Legs, and also stage managed as well as provided the voice of the character Mrs. Carnahan for their November show, Criminal Hearts. This past January Philana’s play The Waiting Room won “The Charlie”, an audience choice award, at Acme’s New Works Winter Festival.
