Mickey Coburn Mickey Coburn makes her Concord Players debut as director of HAY FEVER. Her directing credits include WHERE’S CHARLEY? at Boston Conservatory, FOOD AND SHELTER at Speakeasy Theatre Company, RUMORS at the Youngstown Playhouse, OSCAR REMEMBERED at the Tower Auditorium in Boston, EDUCATING RITA at Boston University, NOEL COWARD’S MARVELOUS PARTY at Don’t Tell Mama in New York, to name a few. Mickey returned to the North Shore in 2006 after five years in New York City, and directed SHAKESPEARE IN HOLLYWOOD for Arlington Friends of the Drama in that year. Former Artistic Director of The Boston Children’s Theatre, she wrote as well as directed and produced five impressive seasons. (Her children’s plays are published by havescripts.com and are currently being performed internationally.) Prior to this, Mickey was the founder and Artistic Director of The Acting Place in Beverly, MA which she ran for six seasons. She is a graduate of Carnegie Institute of Technology where she earned a BFA in Theatre. Mickey is delighted to be working with Concord Players, whose productions she has long admired, and she thanks all here for the opportunity.
