Nancy Tutunjian Berger

Nancy has always wanted to play Dot since she first saw Sunday in the Park on Broadway back in 1985. She started her foray into theatre in college and community theatre, playing many varied roles in musicals, comedies, and dramas. Some of her other roles include: Marsinah in Kismet, Lili in Carnival, Agnes in Agnes of God, Marian Hollander in Don’t Drink the Water, Princess Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress, Julie Jordan in Carousel, Mabel in Pirates of Penzance, and Dolly Levi in Hello, Dolly.

She has also enjoyed a career as a singer of all types of music ranging from pop to jazz to classical. As soloist for the Komitas Choral Society, she sang on the stage of Lincoln Center in New York- she even had a stint as a lead singer in a rock band! She writes and performs Contemporary Christian music all over New England and has released three independent recordings of her compositions, which have received air-play on Gospel stations all over the U.S., and which led to her receiving the radio industry’s “Trailblazer” award for up and coming musicians in 1997. And, she has just finished a novel which she is hoping to find a publisher for- does anyone know a good agent?! She wishes to thank her husband Rick for his support and encouragement, and for being so good at reading lines with her!
