Kate Wendt

Kate is very excited to join the Concord Players for the production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Her life-long interest in dance and theater has provided many rewarding experiences. A native of Chicago, she studied dance with Gus Giordano and Lou Conte. Most of her theatrical experience was centered in the north shore suburbs with dance chorus roles in South Pacific, Guys & Dolls, Unsinkable Molly Brown, Applause, Oliver, and Hello Dolly. She was the featured dancer in Fiddler on the Roof, Carousel, Gypsy, and in Stop the World—I want to get off, where she was also the choreographer for the show.

When living in Kansas City, MO, she learned Argentine Tango and became a member of the Midwest Argentine Tango Society’s performance troupe. Since moving to the Boston area, Kate has continued her study of Argentine Tango and has recently added Salsa to her repertoire. She wishes to thank her family and friends for their continued support and encouragement to explore dance and theater as a past time.
