Jackson is a research psychologist by profession and a theater-guy by inclination His acting roles include a US Senator in Love Letters; a Spanish land owner in Much Ado about Nothing; a business tycoon in You Can’t Take it With You; a down-Easter in George Washington Slept Here; a Roman nobleman, in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum; a Southern Redneck in Sweet Bird of Youth; an inquisitor in Joan of Arc; and the father of a deaf blind child in The Miracle Worker.
He is also one of the founders of The Boulevard Theatre Company, for which he recently directed Suitable for Hanging, by Georges Feydeau and Beata Beatrix, by Gillian Plowman.
