Christian Milde
Christian is quite pleased to be working with the Concord Players for the first time on this exceptional production of 1776. He is thrilled to be able to work with such an outgoing and talented cast while playing a role that he has long hoped to play. He kindled his passion for the stage by joining the cast of the 1996 Christmas Revels. Since then he has been in over ten productions. As a classically trained singer from an early age, Christian also finds time for a large amount of vocal work, which has in recent years run the gambit from choral work on CDs to solos at the Rivers Music School Contemporary Music Seminar and singing a solo in Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. A few of his past theatrical appearances include Colin in The Secret Garden (The Wellesley Players); Thor in The Nerd (The Newton Country Players); Randolph in Bye Bye Birdie (Dana Hall and Belmont Hill); Harold Hill in The Music Man (The Lexington Waldorf School); and Flute in Midsummer Night's Dream (The Gazebo Players). Christian is currently in four vocal groups at Concord Academy, where he is a Junior. He wishes to thank his supportive family, who make his thespian tendencies a reality and everyone who has encouraged him towards his musical and theatrical goals.
