Denise Marois

Denise is thrilled to be making her debut with Concord Players as Clara, her first role since moving back to Massachusetts after a 20-plus year absence. She was last seen in the very un-funny role of the Nurse in Equus at the Washington Shakespeare Theater. Her other stage credits include a singing, dancing prostitute in Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Celia in The Nerd  and Cookie in Rumors. She played Piglet in Winnie the Pooh and she still has the tail and pictures to prove it and Edith in Blithe Spirit for which she received a best cameo nomination.

Denise studied acting with retired Howard University Professor Vera Katz and at The Studio Theater Conservatory, Woolly Mammoth Theater and The Washington Shakespeare Company in Washington, D.C.  She thanks Mickey for this great opportunity and to the wonderful, warm cast and incredibly hard-working production team and crew. You guys rock. Special love to Richard and the fur kids and to my lovely, lovely family.
