The Story
Georg and Amalia are two feuding clerks in a European parfumerie during the 1930’s who secretly find solace in their anonymous romantic pen pals, little knowing their respective correspondents are none other than each other.

Funny, intelligent, honest and sentimental, She Loves Me is a warm romantic comedy with an endearing innocence and a touch of old world elegance and nostalgia, yet as universal and relevant as ever in this age of internet romances.

MR. MARACZEK   Shop owner, stubborn - Baritone
AMALIA BALASH    Very average, well-read. Secret pen pal of George - Soprano
WAITER     Hell-bent on keeping his establishment romantic - Baritone
ENSEMBLE   (including featured dancers and singers throughout the show)

Please prepare 32-bars of a musical theatre selection in the style of She Loves Me
(please do not audition with a song from She Loves Me).

Detailed directions to the auditions: The Trinitarian Congregational Church is directly across the street from our theater at 51 Walden St. Go to the left of the santuary up the walkway and look to the right for stairs leading down to a door at the lower level. It is about where the bright lights are in the picutre of the church at http://www.triconchurch.org/

Rehearsals: Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7-10 and Sunday 2-5 starting on February 11th. Tech week will be Saturday April 21, Sunday April 22, Wednesday April 25, & Thursday April 26.
