A Westwood resident since moving here from California a few years ago, Kara is now pursuing a degree in film at Emerson College. She was formerly at UMass where she served as producer for the UMass Theatre Guild. Her performance credits include roles in Evita, The Fourposter (Agnes), Bye Bye Birdie (Kim), and Sweet Charity (Rosie). She made her directing debut in the spring of 1991 with Student Valley Productions' performance of Bill and Karen. New to the Players, Kara is delighted to be playing a character from her favorite childhood book.
