Spencer EvettLaura Schall Gouillart

Laura has been performing in local theater groups for 25 years, and has been particularly active with the Savoyard Light Opera Company where she also served on the board. She has sung nearly all the comic contralto roles in the Gilbert and Sullivan operettas; favorite parts include The Queen of the Fairies in Iolanthe and Katisha in The Mikado, a role she reprised for the FOPAC concert version in 2009. Other credits include The Music Man (Mrs. Paroo), Once Upon a Mattress (Queen Aggravain) and, most recently, Anything Goes (Mrs. Harcourt).

Laura is a docent at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and, closer to home, a choir member and soloist at Concord’s Tri-Con church. She and her husband Francis have two grown children and have lived in Concord since 1985.
