Carly Evans

Carly is thrilled to be back at the Concord Players, having previously performed in She Loves Me (also under the direction of Corey Jackson), for which she won an EMACT DASH Award for Best Supporting Actress. Other favorite roles include Nellie Forbush (South Pacific), Sybil (Private Lives) and Aldonza (Man of La Mancha), with the Saxtons River Playhouse in Vermont, and Karen (Romance: 101) with Image Theatre in Lowell.

She also works extensively as a director and choreographer at several area middle and high schools, and youth programs, most notably Concord Youth Theatre, where she has directed and choreographed over 20 productions, most recently Bye, Bye Birdie, Snoopy!, Joseph..., and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Her absolute favorite role ever has been Mommy to her little man, Ethan! She would like to thank Ethan for giving up both his parents three nights a week, her husband Ryan for convincing her to audition for this, and Corey for giving her the chance to get back on this side of the stage after far too long.
