Jean Devine

Jean Devine joined the Concord Players in 1996 as a singing nurse in South Pacific. Despite her love of song, Jean’s largest roles have been as publicist, producer and board member, which culminated with her two-term Presidency from 2003-2005. As President, Jean oversaw two seasons rich with dramas and back-to-back musicals, 1776 and Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George. She also guided the Board through committee reorganization, a major By-laws revision and the beginning of the stage floor renovation project. The highlight of Jean’s term was making history come alive with the Concord Players magical performance of 1776 in Historic Faneuil Hall. “That warm evening in July 2004 I will never forget!” After all these years performing behind the scenes, Jean looks forward to returning to the stage. She was in the Winter Welcome productions for the past 5 years
