Ben Delatizky

Ben Delatizky (Dolan) is thrilled to be on stage this season with the Concord Players and honored to be able to pay tribute to The Greatest Generation by performing in Mister Roberts. Last season he directed the poignant comedy Amateurs for the Players. This season he appeared in Bent as Freddie with Theatre at First in Somerville and will be directing Rumors for the Winchester Players.

In addition to the Concord Players Ben has directed for several groups in the area including the Burlington Players, Winchester Players and Nashoba Players. Ben is a two time DASH nominee for best direction of a play for Proof and Side Man both of which were also nominated for best production of a play. Some of his other favorite directorial efforts have been The Smell of the Kill, Broadway Bound, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and The Guys.

Favorite roles include Frank in The Memory of Water, Oscar Madison in The Odd Couple, Louie in Lost In Yonkers, Ira in Laughter On the 23rd Floor and Mordred in Camelot.

And last but not least he would like to thank his family for putting up with his inordinate need for attention which fuels his madness, for remembering his name and for not changing the locks when he eventually makes it home.
