The Sound of Music is Perry’s first production with the Concord Players but not the first time that she has appeared as a Nun. She has been in and around the local theater scene for many years. She has appeared numerous times at Theatre iii in Acton in such shows as Nunsense, and Nuncrackers (Sister Hubert) Urinetown (Josephine Strong), Man of La Mancha (Maria), Jane Eyre (Mrs. Fairfax) and most recently as part of the ensemble in Jekyll and Hyde.
Other favorite shows include HMS Pinafore (Buttercup), Hello Dolly (Irene Molloy) Side by Side by Sondheim and Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris. Perry has also directed locally for Open Door Theater (Big, the Musical) and has directed numerous productions with kids in Acton and in Vermont including Honk, Seussical, Peter Pan and Pirates of Penzance.
She lives between Vermont where her husband and chickens live and Concord. She sings in a semi-professional acapella group, Custom Blend and when not appearing on stage or tending her chickens in Vermont, Perry is the VP of Sales and Marketing for BiddingForGood, a charitable e-commerce company in Cambridge.
