In 2020, after the wonderful reception summer Shakespeare had received over the years, the Concord Players' resident Shakespeare troupe decided to formalize its identify with its own name: The World's A Stage Players.
But this troupe dates back to 2012, and has produced at least one play every year since (except 2016). Are you curious about our past productions? We have complete video for almost everything since 2015, slideshows for all but one production, and cast and crew info for them all. See it here:

The World's A Stage Players already have a packed 2025 schedule
that we are very excited to roll out:
The World's A Stage Players will be hosting a (belated) birthday party for our favorite bard. The event will take place at the Concord Free Public Library (the main branch at 129 Main St.) from 6:00 – 7:30 PM and will include a variety of scenes performed by members of our troupe as well as a Shakespeare Trivia contest. Whether you only read Romeo and Juliet in high school or you've seen King John three times and everyone in between, all those who appreciate the words and wit of Avon's favorite son are welcome.
Last summer, The World's A Stage Players devised and performed a new revue of famous, and not so famous, Shakespeare scenes and monologues, loosely organized around the "eras" of his life and career. After receiving a wonderful reception to the program, this summer they are truly taking the show out on a one weekend tour! Come catch some of your favorite pieces on the following dates and times:
The World's A Stage Players will return, as always, to the Concord Free Public Library lawn for two weekends. This summer, the troupe continues (following their 2023 production of Richard II) Shakespeare's 8-play cycle of English history with a production of Henry IV Part I. More details to come in the near future, but mark your calendars for the following dates:
