With so many shows postponed or cancelled, we'd like to share with you some ideas for enjoying theatre at home, brought to you by organizations from around the world. Explore our calendar of events, or scroll down to learn more about the sources of these events. We'll keep adding to this page as we learn more.




National Theatre Live logo National Theatre Live has announced that they will be releasing a different taped West End show beginning each Thursday at 2 p.m. EDT (and then available for streaming for the next week).

From Thursday, April 30 to Friday, May 8:
Frankenstein
featuring Benedict Cumberbatch alternating with Jonny Lee Miller as the Creature
(both versions available)



As reported on FilmedOnStage.com:
PBS has unlocked past episodes of Great Performances and Live from Lincoln Center for unlimited streaming. PBS plans to add more selections throughout the month of April.
The productions will remain free until May 27th, 2020.

The Opéra National de Paris has made some of its "emblematic productions" accessible online, including Bizet's Carmen (available until May 3). 
Dream of a Summer Night
 with choreography by George Balanchine
is available Monday, May 4 at 7:30 until May 10.




The Stratford Festival, North America's largest classical repertory theatre company, is offering FREE streaming of 12 of their finest Shakespeare productions. One film will be released on their YouTube channel every Thursday at 7pm ET, starting with King Lear on April 23 – aka Shakespeare’s birthday! – and will remain available for three weeks.

Thursday, April 30: Corialanus will debut with a live viewing party at 7PM
preceeded by a preshow discussion at 6:30PM.
